[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong County Council in Gyeongnam will conduct on-site inspections over two days, the 30th and 31st, to review the progress of major projects being promoted by the executive branch.
The sites for the on-site inspections include 18 major projects directly related to residents' lives or involving significant budget expenditures, such as the construction of Sancheong Welfare Town, Donguibogam Village Healing Bridge, Sancheong Oksan Public Rental Housing Project, Perilla Leaf Hydroponic Cultivation Export Complex, Shindeung-myeon Rural Hub Revitalization Project, and Jungsan Tourist Site Revitalization Project. These were selected as key projects requiring inspection and verification by the council, the representative body of the residents.
The purpose of this on-site inspection activity is for the county council to identify potential issues in the project implementation process in advance and to reflect residents' opinions to resolve any inconveniences faced by the residents.
The county council plans to notify the executive branch to take corrective and supplementary measures for projects where problems are found during this inspection, ensuring that these projects proceed in the right direction.
