The other two are confirmed cases related to a Jinju bathhouse, classified as numbers 2897 and 2898. This brings the cumulative confirmed cases related to the Jinju bathhouse to 245.
Two of the Geoje confirmed cases are related to Geoje entertainment establishments and companies, testing positive during pre-release quarantine tests and classified as numbers 2892 and 2895. This raises the cumulative confirmed cases related to Geoje entertainment establishments and companies to 176.
The remaining one is an overseas entrant who tested positive and was classified as number 2896.
The two confirmed cases in Tongyeong are family members who tested positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province, classified as numbers 2893 and 2894 respectively.
Among them, number 2894 is a student attending an elementary school in Tongyeong. A screening clinic has been set up at the school, and tests are being conducted on a total of 137 people, including 126 students and 11 staff members.
The two confirmed cases in Gimhae and one in Sacheon tested positive after contact with confirmed cases within the province and were classified as numbers 2888?2890.
The one confirmed case in Changwon tested positive after voluntarily getting tested due to symptoms and was classified as number 2902. The infection route is under investigation.
Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases in the province have increased to 2,899 (349 hospitalized, 2,537 discharged, 13 deceased).
