An official from the Ministry of Unification said to reporters that day, "We expressed regret because some expressions were judged to have deviated from the minimum respect or basic courtesy toward dialogue and cooperation partners."
However, the official added that although they expressed regret over the statement, efforts to create a flow of inter-Korean dialogue will be maintained.
