One Year of Live Commerce 'InterparkTV': Sales Doubled and Viewers Tripled
From Shopping Live Broadcasts to Travel and Ticket Live Broadcasts... Catching Attention with Differentiated Content
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheolhyun] Interpark announced on the 30th that an analysis of the trends over the past year since the official launch of its live commerce platform 'InterparkTV' showed that shopping demand was highest in the order of food, digital, and living products.
In particular, the cumulative number of viewers over the recent three months from December last year to February this year increased threefold compared to the early days of the service, and sales nearly doubled during the same period.
InterparkTV is a live commerce platform officially launched by Interpark in March last year, featuring professional shopping hosts and product planners (MDs) who appear directly to secure expertise and reliability, while offering discount benefits such as live special prices, gaining great popularity. Especially, it is characterized by showcasing differentiated live commerce content by leveraging strengths across various business categories such as shopping, travel, tickets, and books.
In the recently started program 'One More Sold Out Today,' actors from popular performances appear directly to provide interviews, rehearsal scenes, backstage footage, and other diverse aspects of the performance industry through video content, along with discount benefits. Online book jam concerts, where authors of popular books appear and conduct talk concert-style lectures, are also considered popular content on InterparkTV.
