Muan-gun Opens Sales Channels for Agricultural Products in Chinese Online and Offline Stores
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) announced on the 29th that it will promote the "Agricultural and Food Export Expansion Marketing Board Development Project" for two years starting this year to stabilize the supply and demand of local agricultural products and expand the export of agricultural and food products.
This project involves forming a marketing board as an export consultative body and supporting all stages necessary for export expansion, including product and brand development, packaging production, entry into Chinese online and offline stores, and promotional events, targeting food processing companies wishing to export agricultural and food products to China.
Accordingly, on the 2nd of next month, an explanatory session on exporting to China will be held for companies wishing to apply for the project, and applications will be accepted from the 5th to the 9th of next month at the Rural Support Division of the Muan County Agricultural Technology Center.
Governor Kim San stated, "Last year, to export our local agricultural and food products to the Chinese market, we signed a $1 million export agreement with the Jeollanam-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services and JHE Global Co., Ltd. This year, to actively promote exports by developing competitive processed foods, we plan to operate a marketing board composed of the Agricultural Technology Center, producers, and export experts, and conduct online and offline promotional events."
