On the same day, Oh appeared on YTN Radio's Hwang Bo-seon's Start Morning program and explained, "The reason for the surveying at that time was that there were people illegally cultivating my in-laws' land," adding, "We needed to remove those people, which is why the surveying was conducted."
He continued, "My in-laws have two sons and two daughters, and the eldest brother-in-law went to the site." He also said, "If any factual discrepancies arise from my explanations, it seems like an attempt to label me a liar," emphasizing, "This is not the essence of the issue."
According to Oh's campaign, at 9 a.m. that day, Oh's in-laws submitted an information disclosure request related to the surveying to the Korea Land and Geospatial Informatix Corporation.
Regarding the repeated allegations of land speculation in Naegok-dong, he reiterated, "The essence is that this land was inherited, not purchased with insider information like the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) speculation," emphasizing that it was designated as a public rental housing site before he became mayor.

He stated, "This land was designated as a public rental housing site and later as a Bogeumjari housing site. From around 2005 and 2006, before I became mayor, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport under the Roh Moo-hyun administration and the Seoul SH Corporation had already discussed and designated the area as a public rental housing site," explaining the situation. According to Oh, the Naegok-dong land he owned was inherited by his wife from her father-in-law, who passed away in the 1970s.
