Naver to Hire 900 Developers This Year, "Record High"
[Asia Economy Reporter Buaeri] Amid the heated competition among IT companies to secure talent, Naver plans to hire about 900 developers this year, the largest scale ever.
On the 29th, Naver announced, "We will expand the new graduate open recruitment, which was held once a year, to twice a year in the first and second half, and will start the first half recruitment from April."
Naver also plans to establish a separate developer training and recruitment program for non-computer science majors as well as computer science majors.
In addition, a 'Monthly Recruitment' program will be newly established to regularly recruit experienced employees from the 1st to the 10th of every month. It will start on April 1st.
The first half new graduate developer recruitment, scheduled to join in July, will begin accepting applications on Naver's recruitment website from April 2nd to 12th, and the second half recruitment, for those joining in December, will be held in September. The number of hires for each is in the triple digits.
Naver plans to spare no support in creating a development environment and culture where developers can grow together with their peers, including operating a training program for non-computer science majors.
