Promotion of Cadastral Resurvey for 56 Parcels in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul
Posting Business Briefing Materials on District Office Website... Protecting Residents' Property Rights, Enhancing Land Use Value
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gangseo-gu, Seoul (Mayor Noh Hyun-song) has selected 56 parcels in the area of 355-28, Hwagok-dong as a cadastral resurvey project district and will carry out the cadastral resurvey project by 2022.
The cadastral resurvey project is a project that investigates and surveys the registered items in the cadastral register, corrects discrepancies between the actual status of the land and the registered information, and converts the existing paper-based cadastral maps into digital form.
The purpose is to protect residents' property rights by correcting land boundaries that do not match the actual status and to increase the land use value.
Before the full-scale project implementation, the district office produced explanatory materials detailing ▲the purpose and effects of the cadastral resurvey project ▲project overview and location ▲background and procedures ▲expected effects ▲how to submit consent forms, and posted them on the website to enhance residents' understanding.
In addition, online resident briefing notices were sent to landowners and stakeholders within the project district.
For landowners who find it difficult to use the online resident briefing, the project will be explained individually on-site during cadastral resurvey surveying, and opinions will be collected to minimize residents' inconvenience.
The resident briefing materials can be viewed on the Gangseo-gu Office website under ‘News Plaza - Notices/News’ until April 7.
The district plans to complete the project by the end of 2022 after designating the project district by obtaining consent from at least two-thirds of the landowners and area for the cadastral resurvey project district application, followed by boundary determination through cadastral resurvey surveying.
