BC Card announced on the 29th that CEO Choi officially began his term by holding a talk concert with employees via SNS on the 26th. Prior to this, BC Card appointed Choi as the new CEO following the shareholders' meeting and board of directors on the 25th.
At the event, CEO Choi said, "Only companies that invest in the future can enhance corporate value through growth," adding, "BC Card will also grow through active investment in the future." He emphasized, "We must actively respond to customer expectations by improving the way we work," and stressed that "the basic requirement for BC Card employees going forward must be 'Simple&Easy' (simple and easy to understand)." He explained that providing 'Simple&Easy' products and services to financial customers will not only earn their recognition but also benefit client companies that directly meet customers in the field.
CEO Choi urged, "Just as sharks must keep swimming to survive, we too must continuously move actively to make our presence felt in the financial market."
The talk concert inauguration was held at CEO Choi's direct suggestion. This reflected his commitment to communicate directly with employees in line with his work innovation policy to eliminate unnecessary processes and communicate immediately in order to change the work style to 'Simple&Easy.'
Additionally, having served as an outside director of BC Card for the past six years, CEO Choi has a high level of understanding of the company, enabling immediate sharing of vision and management policies despite being newly appointed, according to the company.
