On the 28th, according to the police, the Gangnam Police Station received a report from local officials that election posters posted near Hakdong Station in Gangnam-gu and in the residential area of Nonhyeon-dong had been damaged.
The election posters posted near Hakdong Station were completely removed, and the posters installed in Nonhyeon-dong were partially damaged, including those of Park Young-sun of the Democratic Party and Heo Kyung-young of the National Revolutionary Party.

A police official said, "We are tracking the suspects through closed-circuit television (CCTV) and other means," adding, "The damaged posters have been replaced with new ones."
