According to AP News and others, police responded around 11 p.m. to multiple gunshots heard in the resort area of Atlantic Avenue, where they found a woman deceased at the scene.

Police stated that the two incidents occurred separately, and several people have been arrested as they continue to investigate connections to the shootings.
