Gwangju City, Recruiting Safety Guardians for Industrial Accident Prevention Project
Applications accepted from the 29th to the 9th of next month... Continuous visits and guidance activities at industrial sites
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 26th that it will publicly recruit consigned contractors to carry out the Industrial Safety and Health Keeper Project, which conducts regular inspections of construction and manufacturing sites to prevent industrial accidents, starting from the 29th.
The Keeper Project is a program where keepers visit industrial sites to focus on inspecting whether workers are wearing personal protective equipment, violations of industrial safety and health standards, and preventive measures against safety accidents (such as falls and dropping accidents), so that workers can work healthily in a safer environment.
Institutions and organizations wishing to participate in the project can refer to the announcement posted on the city’s website under Notices and Announcements on the 29th, prepare the application documents, and submit them in person to the City Labor Cooperation Office.
Eligibility requires that as of the announcement date, the office is located in Gwangju City and that the applicant is a nonprofit corporation or organization with business performance in industrial safety and labor-related fields within the last three years.
For more details, inquiries can be made to the City Labor Cooperation Office.
Nonprofit corporations and organizations selected as consigned institutions will sign an agreement with Gwangju City and carry out the consigned project covering overall operations such as keeper selection, operation, and on-site inspections until the end of the year.
