Hana Financial Group Shareholders' Meeting... Chairman Kim Jung-tae's Reappointment Confirmed
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The reappointment of Kim Jung-tae, Chairman of Hana Financial Group, has been confirmed.
Hana Financial Group held its regular shareholders' meeting on the 26th at its headquarters in Myeongdong, Jung-gu, and approved the agenda including Chairman Kim's reappointment as originally proposed. The term is one year, until next year.
At the shareholders' meeting, the appointment of seven outside directors, one non-executive director, and one inside director was approved. Chairman Kim was appointed as an inside director, and Park Sung-ho, President of Hana Bank, was appointed as a non-executive director. Additionally, candidates Park Won-gu, Kim Hong-jin, Yang Dong-hoon, Heo Yoon, Lee Jung-won, Kwon Sook-kyo, and Park Dong-moon were appointed as outside directors.
Hana Financial also announced plans to continuously strengthen efforts to enhance shareholder value, including interim and year-end dividends.

Measures to strengthen ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management were also finalized. The agenda to amend the articles of incorporation, including the establishment of ESG-related committees within the board of directors such as the Sustainable Management Committee and the Consumer Risk Management Committee, was also approved.
