Emart24 Expands 'MinSaeng' Series... Launches Razor Blades and Organic Cotton Liner Pads
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Emart24 announced on the 25th that it will launch the 'Minsaeng 4-Layer Razor Blades 8-Pack' and 'Minsaeng Organic Cotton Liner 20-Pack' on the 26th.
The Minsaeng razor blades are a product from the Minsaeng razor set series (razor + 4 blades) introduced in October last year, released earlier than planned due to customer requests. The previously launched Minsaeng razor set was offered at 8,900 KRW per set (razor + 4 blades), enhancing cost-effectiveness. Compatible with the Dorco System Razor, it has been a popular product ranking first in both sales volume and revenue among reusable razor products since its launch.
Customers and Emart24 franchise owners continuously requested a product that sells only razor blades separately. In response, Emart24 released the 'Minsaeng 4-Layer Razor Blades 8-Pack' composed solely of razor blades at 9,900 KRW, two months ahead of the original plan. The Minsaeng razor blades, compatible with both the 'Minsaeng Razor' and 'Dorco System Razor,' are priced at 1,238 KRW per blade, designed to last about two months (based on one blade per week). In line with the Minsaeng series concept, the price was lowered while applying diamond hard coating and argan oil lubrication bands to enhance cost-effectiveness.
The Minsaeng Organic Cotton Liner (20-pack) is also the fourth product in Emart24’s organic sanitary pad series, planned at a price more than 50% lower than similar high-quality popular products. The price is 2,000 KRW (20 pieces), equivalent to 100 KRW per piece. The Minsaeng sanitary pads are 100% organic cotton cover products certified by Organic Content Standard (OCS) and have received the 'Excellent' rating from Germany's Dermatest.
As the ultra-low-price, high-quality concept 'Minsaeng' series products have gained customer favor, Emart24 is expanding various non-food items along with food products such as Minsaeng ramen and Minsaeng coffee. Emart24’s Minsaeng household products, including razor sets, toilet paper (Minsaeng 3-ply toilet paper 27×30 rolls ranked 1st), facial tissues (Minsaeng facial tissue 250 sheets × 3 packs ranked 1st), and wet wipes (Minsaeng Hanareum wet wipes cap type 200 sheets ranked 1st), are popular, ranking first in both sales revenue and sales volume across various product categories.
Emart24 plans to continue expanding various cost-effective non-food products as convenience store purchases increase, with sales of household items such as paper products, body care products, kitchen and bathroom supplies, and detergents rising 30-60% compared to the previous year.
