[Public Officials' Asset Disclosure] Bang Moon-kyu's Assets Increase by 900 Million to 6 Billion... Lee Dong-geol 4.9 Billion, Yoon Jong-won 3 Billion
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The assets of Bang Moon-kyu, President of the Korea Export-Import Bank, increased by approximately 880 million KRW compared to a year ago, influenced by rising apartment prices and increased deposits.
Lee Dong-geol, Chairman of KDB Industrial Bank, saw his assets grow by about 450 million KRW, while Yoon Jong-won, President of IBK Industrial Bank, experienced an increase of 280 million KRW.
According to the "2021 Regular Asset Changes of Senior Public Officials" disclosed by the Government Ethics Committee on the 25th through the official gazette, President Bang reported total assets of 5.999 billion KRW.
Breaking down the assets, the value of the apartment jointly owned with his spouse in Seobinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul (140.81㎡) was 1.807 billion KRW, up by 375 million KRW. The jeonse leasehold right of a building in Singongdeok-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, under his spouse's name (80.60㎡), remained unchanged at 200 million KRW. The land in Gasa-dong, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi Province, under his spouse's name (175.30㎡), was valued at approximately 55.5 million KRW, increasing by about 1 million KRW.
He reported deposits under his name totaling 873.9 million KRW. Due to increases in savings, investment trusts, and fund valuations, this rose by 169.4 million KRW. His spouse holds deposits amounting to 2.977 billion KRW, with an increase of about 613 million KRW reported for the same reasons.
Chairman Lee Dong-geol reported assets totaling 4.875 billion KRW, an increase of 456 million KRW. Land in Yeongju-si, Gyeongbuk Province (77,471㎡) under his name, and land (539㎡) and road (22㎡) in Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province, under his spouse's name were reported.
He also owns an apartment in Yongsan-gu, Seoul (149㎡) under his name and an officetel in Jongno-gu, Seoul (69㎡) under his spouse's name. The land value increased by about 18.5 million KRW, but the apartment and officetel increased by a total of 162 million KRW.
He reported deposits of 162 million KRW under his name. Deposits under his spouse's name amount to 1.27 billion KRW, and their two daughters hold 549 million KRW and 101 million KRW respectively.
Total deposits decreased by about 726 million KRW to 2.084 billion KRW. On the other hand, the value of financial bonds and stocks under his name at the Industrial Bank increased by about 1 billion KRW to 1.011 billion KRW.
President Yoon Jong-won reported assets of 2.994 billion KRW, an increase of 281.8 million KRW compared to last year.
Specifically, he reported land including rice paddies, forest land, and a graveyard totaling 1,163.75㎡ in Yongpyeong-dong, Miryang-si, Gyeongnam Province, under his name. The value increased by about 6.6 million KRW to 111.5 million KRW.
He also reported an apartment in Sunae-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi Province (131.40㎡) valued at 750 million KRW, and a jeonse leasehold right for an apartment in Ahyeon-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul (113.00㎡) valued at 500 million KRW, both under his name. There was no change in value.

Additionally, President Yoon reported deposits of approximately 1.544 billion KRW under his name. Due to salary income savings and other factors, this increased by 391.5 million KRW. Including deposits held by his spouse, eldest son, and eldest daughter, the total deposits amount to 2.396 billion KRW, an increase of about 696.9 million KRW.
