Kumho Tire Sells Vietnam Rubber Factory... Focuses on Tire Production and Sales
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Kumho Tire is recently disposing of overseas facilities, including the sale of its natural rubber processing plant in Vietnam.
On the 23rd, Kumho Tire announced that it recently signed a sales contract with Hyundai Tankong for the Vietnam natural rubber processing plant and plans to complete the sales process by the first half of this year.
The Vietnam rubber plant, completed in 2007 with an investment of 4 million dollars by Kumho Tire, has the capacity to process natural rubber sufficient to produce 6 million tires.

Previously, in October last year, Kumho Tire also signed a sales contract with Pakistani tire company Traction for the sale of truck and bus tire (TBR) production facilities at the Nanjing plant in China. The sales process is expected to be completed by August this year.
