[Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] The Fair Trade Commission has initiated disciplinary procedures against SK Telecom. The allegation is that SK Telecom unfairly supported its affiliate operating the music platform Melon.
According to industry sources on the 23rd, the Fair Trade Commission sent SKT a review report regarding the allegation that SKT unfairly supported Loen Entertainment, the affiliate operating Melon. The commission is expected to decide the level of sanctions at a plenary meeting soon.
