Ministry of SMEs and Startups Opens Innovation Voucher Recruitment... Up to 50 Million KRW Support for SMEs with Sales Under 12 Billion KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Junhyung Lee] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 23rd that it will issue an integrated notice for the '2021 SME Innovation Voucher Project.' The ministry will provide differential support covering 50-90% of the voucher issuance amount, up to a maximum of 5,000 won, based on the average sales volume over the past three years for the finally selected companies.
The SME Innovation Voucher Project is designed to support management innovation, smooth recovery, and revitalization of manufacturing SMEs by providing consulting, technical support, marketing, and other services. The project has been conducted since last year, divided into general vouchers and recovery consulting vouchers.
The support targets manufacturing SMEs with an average sales volume of 12 billion won or less over the past three years. Eligible companies can choose from 16 services across three fields?consulting, technical support, and marketing?and receive customized voucher services by selecting their preferred field and executing institution.
The ministry will first recruit for the recovery consulting voucher, and eligible companies can apply starting from the 24th. The general voucher project announcement will be made sequentially from next month through the websites of 13 local Small and Medium Venture Business Administration offices. The carbon-neutral management innovation voucher program is excluded from this announcement. Detailed support contents will be finalized in the second recruitment announcement scheduled to begin after June.
