Appointment of An Byung-hyun as the New CEO of Kyobo Book Centre
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Kyobo Book Centre announced that Ahn Byung-hyun, head of the DT (Digital Transformation) Promotion Office, was appointed as the new CEO on the 22nd.
New CEO Ahn joined Kyobo Life Insurance in 1996, where he was in charge of customer service and change management. In 2012, he moved to Kyobo Book Centre and held positions such as Head of Digital Content Business Team, Director of Digital Business Division, Head of e-Business Headquarters, and Head of DT Promotion Office.
The previous CEO, Park Young-gyu, whose term expired, will serve as the chairman of the Kyobo Book Centre board of directors.
