Daegu City Controls Traffic Toward Cheongdo at Paljoryeong Tunnel... 'Lighting Replacement' Construction
Partial Lane Closure from 9 AM to 6 PM, 22nd to 31st
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu Facilities Corporation announced that from the 22nd to the 31st, lanes will be partially controlled due to the replacement work of LED lights in Paljoryeong Tunnel.
Paljoryeong Tunnel had raised concerns about the 'black hole phenomenon,' which causes momentary visual impairment when entering the tunnel due to outdated lighting. Accordingly, the corporation will replace 211 high-efficiency LED lights in the entrance and exit sections this time.
To minimize traffic inconvenience for citizens, the Facilities Corporation explained that work will be flexibly conducted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., avoiding peak commuting hours when traffic congestion is most severe.
