Daegu City, Suseong-gu and Dalseong-gun Selected in Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Social Economy Collaboration' Public Contest
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Dong-wook] Daegu City announced on the 22nd that Suseong-gu and Dalseong-gun were finally selected in the 'Social Economy Collaboration System Establishment Project' competition conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
The two local governments selected this time will each receive 100 million KRW in combined national and city funds as project expenses to expand the foundation for revitalizing the social economy. This project is a new initiative by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety targeting local governments nationwide to promote collaboration between the public and private sectors for social economy revitalization.
In February, Daegu City held its own evaluation committee, including related experts, to fairly select local governments to recommend to the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
Suseong-gu, selected for the project, will promote the 'Suseong Sanghoe Non-face-to-face Win-win Festa' to help social economy enterprises and local small business owners overcome difficulties together and revitalize the local commercial district. Dalseong-gun will promote 'Dalseong-gun Social Economy Blossoms,' a project to discover entrepreneurs with innovative ideas.
