Unscheduled Inspection Team Activated Starting February
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Wonju City, Gangwon Province, announced on the 22nd that it has "filed a complaint against one person who left quarantine without permission and took corrective action against seven people who violated quarantine rules."
Since last month, the city has organized five teams of three members each to conduct surprise inspections of 70 individuals under COVID-19 self-quarantine, checking for unauthorized departures and compliance with quarantine rules.
In particular, on-site inspections have been strengthened for those suspected of violating quarantine rules or those who entered from high-risk countries (countries subject to enhanced quarantine measures).
