Jeju Fire Department Wins 'Excellence Award' at National Fire Safety Instructors Competition
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters (Jeju) Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] The Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters announced on the 21st that it won the Excellence Award at the 7th National Fire Safety Instructor Competition held on the 18th at the 2nd-floor small auditorium of the Fire Agency in Sejong Special Self-Governing City.
This competition was held with only 10 cities and provinces participating, who passed the preliminary round (lesson plan review) among nationwide city and provincial participants due to COVID-19, resulting in fierce competition.
Fire Captain Kang Gyeongbo of Jeju Fire Station, representing Jeju Province, took 2nd place among 10 participants nationwide with the theme of fire safety education for women titled "Safety, Ready Action," delivering an effective lecture and achieving a high level of audience understanding, earning the honor of the Fire Agency Commissioner’s Award.
