Emart stated that this event is being held due to the sharp increase in demand for tableware, cooking utensils, water bottles, and spoons with the start of March school and spring home renovations. From March 1 to 18, Emart's kitchenware sales increased by 20% compared to last year. It is interpreted that the demand for replacing tableware and cooking utensils increased in spring as people have been cooking more home meals due to COVID-19. From March 1 to 18, sales of dining table items including tableware, trays, and cups increased by 23.2%, and sales of cooking utensils such as pots and frying pans increased by 12.3%.
