The Korea Meteorological Administration stated, "Due to the influence of a high-pressure system moving southward from northern China, cold air from the northwest is descending, causing temperatures to drop further."
Strong winds are expected along the west coast, the mountainous areas of Gangwon, the northeastern mountains of Gyeongbuk, the Sobaek mountain range, and Jeju Island.
By 6 a.m., about 1mm of rain is expected in eastern Gyeonggi, Yeongseo in Gangwon, Chungbuk, eastern Jeolla, and Jeju.
The morning low temperatures by region are forecasted as follows: △Seoul 5°C △Chuncheon 4°C △Gangneung 8°C △Daejeon 4°C △Cheongju 6°C △Daegu 7°C △Gwangju 5°C △Jeonju 5°C △Busan 9°C △Jeju 8°C.
The daytime high temperatures will be △Seoul 10°C △Chuncheon 11°C △Gangneung 14°C △Daejeon 12°C △Cheongju 11°C △Daegu 13°C △Gwangju 12°C △Jeonju 11°C △Busan 16°C △Jeju 12°C.
Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions.
