T'way Air Expands Training Center Safety Experience to General Public
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 19th that it will expand the opportunity to experience its training center to the general public without age or gender restrictions, following students majoring in aviation-related fields.
Located within the cargo terminal at Gimpo Airport, the T'way Air Training Center is equipped with various purpose-specific practice rooms such as emergency evacuation, door slide, first aid, cabin service, and simulators, as well as a state-of-the-art fire suppression room where actual fires are simulated.
Since October last year, T'way Air has been operating the 'T'way Crew Class,' a cabin crew experience program for university students majoring in aviation-related fields, and this time, the program will be expanded to include general participants as well.
Applications for the Basic Course, which will be held on the 9th of next month, are accepted until the 29th of this month on the Crew Class website. The Intensive Course, a two-day program held on the 15th and 16th of next month, can be applied for until the 2nd of next month. The Intensive Course is a program that adds advanced safety experiences and employment mentoring to the Basic Course.

A T'way Air official stated, “We want to provide more people with a great opportunity to experience aviation safety at a high level in an environment similar to real situations,” and added, “We also plan to carry out educational donation social contribution activities such as safety and service experience programs for children and adolescents in the future.”
