Bucheon City to Operate Integrated Landscape and Architecture Review Monthly... Expecting Shorter Project Duration
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Hyesook] Bucheon City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 18th that it will operate integrated landscape and architectural reviews monthly starting this year, instead of the previous 1-2 times per year, to revitalize the construction industry.
This aims to conduct reasonable reviews through comprehensive examination of the landscape and architectural fields and to simplify administrative procedures to resolve issues such as project delays.
The integrated review is conducted for buildings subject to duplicate reviews by the Landscape Committee and the Architecture Committee. The department in charge of permits reviews the relevant individual laws, then requests the Architecture Management Division, which handles landscape reviews, to submit the case to the Architecture Committee for review.
Last month, the 1st Joint Landscape and Architecture Committee handled a total of four agenda items through integrated review.
