Shinsegae Department Store will hold the "First Half Golf Festival" from the 19th to the 28th. The event will take place both online and offline in collaboration with SSG.com.

Especially, with increasing demand from 2030 "gollini" (a newly coined term combining golf + children), both golf equipment and apparel categories are showing strong growth.
Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 18th that in March, sales in the golf shop and golf wear categories increased by 93.0% and 177.2% respectively compared to the previous year. Sales in the golf category on SSG.com also grew by 45.0% year-on-year. It is analyzed that this growth may surpass the record-breaking growth rates seen in February last year?45.9% for golf shops and 103.2% for golf wear?when sales rose due to the COVID-19 base effect.
This is due to the growing interest in the golf category among young customers in their 20s and 30s. Sales from 2030 customers, which grew 99.2% in February, expanded to 155.0% in March. Customers in their 20s showed a 103.7% growth this month.
Shinsegae Department Store will hold the "First Half Golf Grand Sale" for ten days from the 19th to the 28th. The event will be held both online and offline in collaboration with SSG.com, in line with the non-face-to-face trend.
At the Shinsegae Main Store New Building 1st floor, a "Majesty Special Popup" will be held from the 22nd to the 28th. During the event, the women's lineup of "Majesty," called "Her MAJESTY," will be exclusively showcased offline, attracting the attention of female golf customers. The golf club set is priced at 20 million KRW. In addition to existing golf clubs and accessories, a putting experience zone has been prepared in the department store.
For customers who want to practice golf safely indoors, from the 19th to the 28th, the home golf simulator "PiGolf" will be introduced at a special on-site purchase price of 188,000 KRW on the 4th floor of the Shinsegae Department Store Main Store New Building.
PiGolf is a device designed to allow easy golf practice at home, consisting of a swing stick and motion sensor. The 60 cm swing stick is made with the actual weight of an iron, enabling safe practice at home without restrictions from location, weather, or other environmental factors. Additionally, all Shinsegae Department Store golf shops offer golf equipment such as the XXIO driver for 680,000 KRW, XXIO wood for 960,000 KRW, and Titleist utility clubs for 320,000 KRW, all at discounts up to 30%.
The SSG.com event will also be presented. Until 9 a.m. on the 29th, customers can receive up to 30% discounts during this SSG.com event, featuring Shinsegae exclusive products such as the Nikon Coolshot rangefinder for 532,000 KRW and the Caddytalk Sniper rangefinder for 228,000 KRW.
Popular golf products are also available at discounted prices. During the event, the PRGR Super Egg driver, famous for its high repulsion, can be purchased at a 10% discount for 1.8 million KRW, and the luxury golf shoes, Ecco Biom golf shoes, are sold at a 25% discount for 200,000 KRW. During the event period, payment coupons offering a 10% discount on Shinsegae Department Store golf equipment and apparel on SSG.com will also be provided.
