Japanese Foreign Minister Responds to Condolence Letter on the 10th Anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] Motegi Toshimitsu, Japan's Foreign Minister, responded to a condolence letter sent by Chung Eui-yong, South Korea's Foreign Minister, on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 17th, "We have received a reply letter in the name of the Foreign Minister regarding the condolence letter that Minister Chung sent to Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi on the 10th, marking the 10th anniversary of the Great East Japan Earthquake." It is known that Foreign Minister Motegi sent the reply on the 16th.
Minister Chung took office on the 9th of last month, but unlike other major foreign ministers, he has not yet had a phone conversation with Foreign Minister Motegi.
