‘KAC Smart Fair Travel’ is a project where Korea Airports Corporation supports up to a 40% discount when purchasing products from local social enterprises (food, accommodation, specialty products, experience coupons, etc.), and participation is possible through a special exhibition on Naver Happybean.
The corporation and Happybean agreed that the corporation will be responsible for planning, implementing, and budgeting the special exhibition to support sales of social economy enterprises and small business owners and to promote value-based consumption among consumers, while Happybean will handle promotional activities.
Last year, the corporation conducted a pilot ‘Smart Fair Travel’ project targeting the Jeju area for four months, with about 21,000 consumers participating and achieving sales of 430 million KRW for Jeju social enterprises. This year, the participating regions will be expanded to Yangyang and Yeosu, and the full-scale project is scheduled to begin next month.
