Air Washer No.1 'Haila' Expands Domestic Online and Offline Sales Network
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyewon] Amid growing attention to indoor ventilation products due to COVID-19 and fine dust, the world's No.1 brand in the air washer category, 'HYLA,' is officially meeting domestic consumers.
HYLA Korea announced on the 17th that it plans to expand its online and offline sales network in Korea. HYLA will start with online sales through open markets and gradually expand its sales channels to department stores, marts, and shopping malls.
Jung Munyong, CEO of HYLA Korea, explained, "HYLA is a product faithful to the essence of powerfully cleaning the air in an eco-friendly way using water," adding, "As a product from the technology powerhouse Germany, we take pride in its quality." He continued, "Due to its nature as a high-priced professional device, it was mainly sold through VIP face-to-face sales, but we decided to expand online and offline sales channels to approach a broader audience."
HYLA is a German air washer brand with a 30-year tradition. The air washer, based on the concept of 'washing air with water,' features a powerful water filtering system using pure water as its core. It is differentiated from conventional air purifiers that purify external air through artificial dry filters.
According to HYLA Korea, the HYLA air washer removes fine dust, ultrafine dust, bacteria, viruses, and microbes by utilizing the adsorption power of pure water. It is eco-friendly as it does not use artificial filters, and the water tank, which acts as a dust collection device, eliminates the source of pollutants, preventing re-release of contaminants. After use, only the water containing the absorbed pollutants needs to be discarded.
The magnet eco motor used in electric vehicles strongly inhales air, creating indoor air convection in a short time to increase air circulation rates. The separator, patented worldwide, crushes ultrafine dust, bacteria, viruses, and microbes. It is said that air washing of a space about 50 pyeong (approximately 165 square meters) is possible within about 15 minutes of operation.
