Park Yumi, the quarantine control officer of the Seoul Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, said in an online briefing that morning, "Since the opening of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo-gu, many people have gathered and two confirmed cases have been reported. We are responding by implementing measures to ease visitor crowd density and strengthening on-site inspections to ensure compliance with quarantine rules together with Yeongdeungpo-gu."

Regarding the reason for not ordering the closure of The Hyundai Seoul, she explained, "Considering compliance with quarantine rules and the scale of close-contact employees in case of confirmed cases, we judged that the risk of spread is not significant enough to warrant a full closure." She added, "On weekends and holidays, we are focusing on on-site inspections to ensure compliance with quarantine measures."
