Jangseong-gun Provides 'Disaster Relief Funds' to 42,694 People
[Jangseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jo Hangyu] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Dooseok) has provided the 'Emergency Disaster Relief Fund' to 42,694 people, accounting for 96% of the 44,463 residents.
According to the county on the 16th, this disaster relief fund is a COVID-19 emergency disaster relief fund that supports all residents with 100,000 won worth of Jangseong Love Gift Certificates to comfort residents exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and to revive the depressed local economy.
The county formed a TF team for the prompt distribution of the relief fund and organized personnel from all departments to work normally even on weekends to make the payments.
During the payment period, gift certificates worth 3.4 billion won were exchanged at affiliated stores, and especially, 1.1 billion won was exchanged from the 8th to the 15th of last month, around the Lunar New Year holiday.
