Shinhan Financial Group Launches Employee Digital Competency Assessment Platform 'Shinhan SchoolCheck'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] Shinhan Financial Group announced on the 16th that it has launched 'Shinhan SchoolCheck,' the first digital competency diagnosis and evaluation platform for employees in the domestic financial sector.
Shinhan SchoolCheck is a self-assessment platform for digital practical skills devised by Shinhan Financial Group to strengthen digital transformation capabilities at the group level. It provides various digital-related practice and diagnostic environments, including ▲web-based coding practice ▲self-assessment of new digital technologies ▲achievement tests ▲coding tests.
In December last year, Shinhan Financial Group expanded digital education opportunities for employees based on content centered on financial cases and established and utilized ShinhanCheck, a group-wide joint digital education platform, to efficiently integrate and operate digital education courses across group companies.
Through ShinhanCheck, Shinhan Financial Group plans to measure digital education performance using Shinhan School and utilize the diagnostic results in various areas such as digital talent recruitment and desired job placement.
In particular, in the first half of this year, Shinhan DS plans to use the coding test of Shinhan SchoolCheck to verify the digital practical skills of external personnel during the recruitment of experienced employees, and will expand this to all group companies in the future to cultivate convergent talents proficient in both digital technology and finance.
