Kia Ranks First in Indian Dealer Customer Satisfaction Survey, Surpassing Luxury Car Brands

[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Kia announced on the 16th that it was selected as the top company in the Indian dealer customer satisfaction survey conducted by the Indian automotive market research firm 'Car Dealer Tracker.'

This survey by Car Dealer Tracker is the only automotive dealer customer satisfaction evaluation in India and was launched for the first time this year. The evaluation was conducted online and via phone in 10 major cities across India.

250 customers per automotive brand participated in the survey, and satisfaction results were derived based on five categories: ▲comprehensive customer response ▲dealer facilities ▲ease of purchase ▲transparency and reliability ▲staff competence, with a perfect score of 1000 points.

In this survey, Kia received high ratings in categories such as comprehensive customer response and transparency and reliability, achieving an overall score of 832 points. Kia ranked first among 13 general brands, ahead of Tata (830 points), MG (819 points), and Hyundai (797 points). Notably, Kia also ranked first among all 18 brands, including five luxury brands such as Jaguar Land Rover (748 points) and Volvo (739 points).

A Kia representative said, "Since entering the Indian market, Kia has received favorable evaluations from the market not only in terms of quantitative growth but also in qualitative aspects such as customer response," adding, "We will use this as an opportunity to further develop customer-centric management."

Meanwhile, since starting sales in India in August 2019, Kia has surpassed cumulative sales of 220,000 units as of February this year, continuously strengthening its position as one of the top 5 automotive brands locally.
