Daejeon City Provides 7 Million Won Support for LPG Purchase of Children's School Vehicles
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City is accepting applications for the LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) vehicle conversion support project for children's school transportation vehicles within the city.
According to the city on the 16th, this year's support scale is about 220 children's school transportation vehicles, with 7 million KRW per vehicle. This is an increase of 2 million KRW from the previous 5 million KRW, and the city will temporarily abolish the previous condition that required scrapping existing diesel vehicles to receive support.
Applications will be accepted starting from the 17th, and recipients will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants must apply for support online through the Ministry of Environment's vehicle emission grade system website, and the city plans to notify applicants of their selection status within 14 days after receiving the application.
If selected, applicants must submit the LPG new vehicle purchase contract to the city and can receive the subsidy by registering the LPG new vehicle and reporting the children's school bus within two months, then claiming the subsidy.
For more detailed information, refer to the announcement on the city’s website or contact the city's Fine Dust Response Division at City Hall.
