Dead Body Found at Jeju Port Pier 8
No Severe Decay and No Signs of Trauma
[Jeju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] On the morning of the 14th, an unidentified body of a man in his early 30s was found at Jeju Port, and the Jeju Coast Guard is investigating.
According to the Jeju Coast Guard, at around 11:50 a.m. that day, a report was received that a dead body was seen in the sea near Pier 8 of Jeju Port. The Jeju Police Substation and rescue team were urgently dispatched and arrived at the scene around 12:24 p.m., where they found a male body approximately 168 cm tall wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black shoes.
The Coast Guard recovered the body around 12:37 p.m. and transported it using the Jeju Coast Guard coastal rescue boat to Pier 2, where it was placed in a vehicle and taken to a hospital in Jeju city for storage.
