Former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Kang Boseong Passes Away
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Joo Sang-don] Former Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Kang Bo-seong passed away on the 14th. He was 91 years old.
Kang, a native of Jeju, served as a professor at Jeju National University and was a member of the 11th and 13th National Assembly. From March to September 1990, he served as the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Afterwards, he held positions such as policy advisory committee member of the Democratic Liberal Party, chairman of the Jeju branch of the People's New Party, executive committee member of the Grand National Party, and member of the Millennium Democratic Party.
