On the 12th, the Democratic Party made this statement through a press release issued by Chief Spokesperson Choi In-ho.
Spokesperson Choi said, "The party will do its utmost to ensure concrete results in legislation and implementation plans for the smooth promotion of the February 4th measures," adding, "We will do our best to prepare measures to eradicate speculation, prevent recurrence, and recover illegal profits until the public acknowledges them."
Earlier, Minister Byun reportedly submitted his resignation to the Blue House in the afternoon after attending the full meeting of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee in the morning.
