According to Gwangju City on the 12th, as of 6 p.m. that day, three people tested positive and were classified as Gwangju cases 2171 to 2173.
Case 2171 is an imported case; after arriving from the United States and undergoing quarantine, the individual was finally confirmed positive.
Among the total 2,173 confirmed cases in the region, 135 are imported cases.
Cases 2172 and 2173 are related to the LINA Life Insurance call center.
All of them tested positive in tests conducted before the end of their self-quarantine period.
The cumulative number of confirmed cases related to the LINA Life Insurance call center has increased to 114.
