Yangsan-si Conducts Cadastral Resurvey in Three Districts: Bukbu-dong, Gachon-ri, and Deokgye-dong
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Yangsan City, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 12th that it will conduct land status surveys and cadastral re-surveying in three districts selected as cadastral re-survey project areas: Bukbu, Mulgeum, and Deokgye-dong.
The cadastral re-survey project aims to correct discrepancies between the actual status of land and the registered details in the cadastral register, and to convert paper-based cadastral maps into digital cadastral data, thereby enabling efficient national land management and protecting citizens' property rights.
The city has collected residents' opinions through public inspection, announcements, and guidance procedures for project progress, and held residents' briefings online or in small groups, obtaining consent from more than two-thirds of landowners.
After district designation, the new cadastral boundaries will be finalized through procedures such as boundary adjustments based on survey results, submission of opinions, and objections. Adjustments for area increases or decreases will be calculated and paid or collected through appraisals. The city plans to accelerate efforts to complete the project by 2022.
