"Relax by Making LEGO Flower Bouquets in the Room" Seoul Shilla Hotel Launches Package
LEGO Teams Up to Capture 'Kidult' Customers
"Products Tailored to MZ Generation's Taste for Experience and Sharing"
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Seoul Shilla Hotel is teaming up with LEGO this spring to attract 'kidult' customers.
On the 12th, Seoul Shilla Hotel announced that it will introduce a healing package that allows guests to create a LEGO bouquet (product number 10280) set in their rooms. Kidult customers who enjoy LEGO can have fun 'hotel-coc playing' in their rooms, and the completed LEGO bouquet can be taken home and used as a 'planterior item.'
'My Little Bouquet with LEGO,' a collaboration between Seoul Shilla Hotel and LEGO Korea, is a package that lets guests assemble the bouquet set LEGO launched last January for kidult customers right in their rooms. The hotel explained that this product reflects the latest cultural trends such as spring, kidult, planterior, and staying at home play. It was planned based on an idea from a recent LEGO Group survey showing that "more than 80% of adults relieve stress through play."
After a popular observational entertainment program aired late last month showing a celebrity enjoying leisure time by making a LEGO bouquet, interest in the product has increased even more. Since it is a new product released two months ago and has gained attention through TV, the hotel expects it to be especially popular among the MZ generation who enjoy sharing their daily lives on social media.
Customers using the package can receive the 'LEGO bouquet set' at the front desk upon check-in. This set, consisting of a total of 756 pieces, is easy for anyone to assemble, and various flowers, leaves, and stems can be assembled differently according to individual preferences. The set includes parts made from plant-based plastic derived from sugarcane, making it eco-friendly.
The 'My Little Bouquet with LEGO' package, based on a one-night stay in a Business Deluxe room, includes ▲ one LEGO bouquet set ▲ one bottle of red wine and one wine bag in the room ▲ a 50,000 KRW food and beverage credit (usable during the stay) ▲ access to the fitness center and indoor swimming pool (for two people). It is available from the 14th through April 30th. The price starts at 290,000 KRW.
Meanwhile, the hotel is also offering the 'My Blossom' package, which allows guests to create a flower centerpiece with fresh flowers while staying in their rooms. This product focuses on creating your own work in the room and provides a DIY kit using seasonal flowers along with tutorial videos. The videos offer flower arranging methods and useful 'tips' for flower care.
