Goyang City, Joint Special Crackdown on 'Local Currency Fraudulent Circulation'
Enforcement from the 16th to the end of the month... Investigation requested after confirming violations
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Goyang City in Gyeonggi Province, in cooperation with the province, will conduct a comprehensive crackdown on the fraudulent distribution of Goyang Pay from the 16th to the 31st.
According to the city on the 11th, the main targets of the crackdown are ▲operation of restricted registered industries such as gambling industries ▲receipt of local currency without providing goods or services ▲receipt of gift certificates exceeding the actual transaction amount ▲exchange of fraudulently received gift certificates ▲refusal of local currency payments or demands for additional charges, etc.
The crackdown will be conducted by visiting suspicious stores on-site to verify fraudulent distribution based on payment data by franchise and resident reports.
