The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants Donates 100 Million KRW in COVID-19 Relief Funds to the Korean Red Cross
[Asia Economy Reporter Ji-hwan Park] The Korean Institute of Certified Public Accountants (KICPA) announced on the 10th that it has donated 100 million KRW in relief funds to the headquarters of the Korean Red Cross, gathering the will and sincerity of over 23,000 certified public accountants to encourage medical staff in the Seoul metropolitan area, where the spread of COVID-19 has recently intensified.
The relief funds will be delivered to the Incheon Red Cross Hospital, a dedicated hospital in the metropolitan area, and used to support necessary supplies for medical staff who are devoted on the front lines of COVID-19.
At the donation ceremony held at the Korean Red Cross headquarters that day, KICPA Chairman Young-sik Kim, Vice Chairman of External Cooperation Byung-rae Lee, Korean Red Cross President Hee-young Shin, Secretary General Taekwang Kim, and Director of Resource Development Jae-seung Lee attended.
