[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 10th that it will officially operate a dedicated civil complaint phone consultation center from early April to promptly respond to inquiries related to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), including vaccination for residents.
The 'COVID-19 Response Civil Complaint Call Center' is a dedicated window that provides information on vaccinations to ensure no resident is missed in the vaccination process.
It mainly provides guidance on eligibility for vaccination, timing and location of vaccination, precautions during vaccination, and methods for COVID-19 prevention and response.
The call center will operate temporarily on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. until herd immunity is secured by the end of the year.
The province plans to start consultations from April by assigning a total of six personnel, including one dedicated public official and five professional counselors, by the end of March.
Residents will be able to call 120 (planned) directly for inquiries, and for specialized and complex civil complaints, they will be connected to the provincial Vaccination Promotion Team for one-stop guidance.
