[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seongbuk-gu (Mayor Seungro Lee) opened new Our Neighborhood Care Centers Seongbuk Branches 4, 8, and 9 on the 2nd, providing children with a safe and exciting daily life through more thorough care services and giving parents peace of mind.
Seongbuk-gu plans to open 5 more Our Neighborhood Care Centers this year and is making efforts to find new sites.
The newly opened Our Neighborhood Care Centers Seongbuk Branches 4, 8, and 9 are located in Jangwi 2-dong (10 Jangwiro 40da-gil), Gireum 2-dong (50 Sungin-ro, inside the Raemian Gireum Center Peace complex), and Jeongneung 4-dong (2 Bogungmunro 16-gil, 2nd floor), respectively.
With this, Seongbuk-gu now operates a total of five centers, including the previously operated ▲ Branch 1 in Jangwi 1-dong (32-4 Dolgoti-ro 37-gil) and ▲ Branch 2 in Seokgwan-dong (214 Hwarang-ro, inside the Raemian Seokgwan complex).
Our Neighborhood Care Center is a care space where elementary school children aged 6 to 12 can freely use after school.
Children can stay safely, do homework with friends, and participate in various play activities. Any elementary school-aged child in need of care can use the service regardless of their parents' income level.
Operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the school term and from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. during vacations.
The usage fee is 50,000 KRW per month for regular care and 2,500 KRW per day for temporary care. Applications can be made through online reservations on the Our Neighborhood Care Portal or by phone inquiries at the centers (Branches 1, 2, 4, 8, and 9).
