"From Chungking Express to In the Mood for Love" Watcha Releases Wong Kar-wai Masterpieces 4K Remastered Versions

[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] The online video service (OTT) Watcha is set to showcase a large collection of films by director Wong Kar-wai.
On the 10th, Watcha announced that starting on the 17th, it will exclusively stream six titles in its SVOD (subscription VOD) service: Wong Kar-wai’s "Chungking Express Remastering," "In the Mood for Love Remastering," "Happy Together Remastering," "Fallen Angels Remastering," "2046 Remastering," and "Ashes of Time Redux." Additionally, the highly acclaimed British drama "Years & Years," which was featured on Watcha last year, will be followed by the latest work from its writer Russell T. Davies, titled "It's a Sin," also as a Watcha exclusive series.
The Wong Kar-wai films released on Watcha this time?"Chungking Express Remastering," "In the Mood for Love Remastering," "Happy Together Remastering," "Fallen Angels Remastering," and "2046 Remastering"?are all 4K remastered versions. These five titles are part of the second season of the "#HeolWatcha" campaign, which began last December with the "Harry Potter" series and sequentially released highly requested content, generating explosive responses from users. Although not in 4K remastering, "Ashes of Time Redux," "Days of Being Wild," "Fallen Angels," and "The Grandmaster" are also available on Watcha.
