On the 5th, Gijang-gun, Busan, announced that it will promote a medical expense support project for Dream Start children with the sponsorship of Geo Development Co., Ltd., located in Jeonggwan-eup.
Gijang-gun will use the donation to implement the 'Dream Helin Medical Expense Support Project' for Dream Start children. The 'Dream Helin Medical Expense Support Project' supports psychological treatment for children with chronic illnesses and borderline conditions who typically find it difficult to receive institutional support. Up to 1 million won per household will be provided.
Through the 'Dream Helin Medical Expense Support Project,' Gijang-gun plans to supplement the insufficient welfare infrastructure and strive to eliminate welfare blind spots.
A representative of Geo Development Co., Ltd. said, "We hoped to provide meaningful support rather than simple cash aid to children from vulnerable groups, so it is significant to be able to support medical expenses for children in blind spots within the district."
He added, "If given the opportunity, we will expand the culture of sharing through regular donations rather than one-time contributions."
