Imsil-gun Provides Visiting Dementia Cognitive Rehabilitation Services
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] The Dementia Safety Center in Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk announced on the 5th that it will operate a visiting cognitive rehabilitation program for elderly people with mild dementia starting this month.
The Dementia Safety Center will first select about 10 participants and run the program for 12 weeks starting this month, deploying two specialists including a professional cognitive rehabilitation occupational therapist and a nurse.
Using various materials that help improve memory skills (coloring books, Hwatu puzzles) and handicraft items (diffuser making, calendar making), professional cognitive rehabilitation staff will provide one-on-one home visit services to elderly dementia patients.
