Gyeongnam Province Conducts 'Joint Private Inspection' at 38 Large Construction Sites
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 5th that it will select 38 construction sites with project costs of 10 billion KRW or more within the province and conduct joint guidance and inspections with private experts to prevent poor construction and ensure quality and safety in large-scale construction projects.
From the 8th to the 19th, inspections will be conducted at 9 sites where quality deterioration during the thawing period and safety accidents are a concern, considering the scale of the construction. The remaining sites will be guided and inspected quarterly depending on conditions.
In addition, compliance with design documents and specifications, adherence to relevant regulations, appropriate allocation of construction engineers, and compliance with social distancing quarantine guidelines will be the main focus of the inspections.
